Week 9

Scripture:

“I know what I am planning for you,” says the Lord. “I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Devotional:

Did you know that God has a plan for your life? It’s true! You can count on three things.

1. God loves you.

2. God wants what’s best for you.

3. God has a plan for you. God’s plan may not always happen exactly like you want, but God is always working to give you a great future. Sometimes, even though you may want something very badly, you might need to be patient and wait. God’s timing is always perfect. Even if you don’t get exactly what you want today, you can be sure that God wants what’s best for you…always.

Family Questions:

1. What can you do to bring God with you in your future plans?

2. How can you show patience when you do not get what you want from God?

Prayer:

Dear God, I don’t always understand why things happen the way they do, but I know You have a plan and You will always take care of me. Amen.
