What to expect?

What should I wear?

You’re welcome to come in any clothes you feel comfortable in. Some people choose jeans and t-shirts and others choose button-up shirts or dresses. We are pretty casual here at CRC.

Where do I go?

Our main parking lot is on Elm St. We hold our worship services in the Sanctuary (a service outside at 10 a.m. in the summer). For indoor service you will come through the main doors and proceed straight down the hall to the fellowship hall. The Sanctuary is to the left of the Fellowship Hall. For outdoor service we gather in the large yard off of the playground.

Can I bring coffee or food into the sanctuary?

There isn't much we do around CRC without coffee first. We offer coffee and donuts between the 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. services. You are welcome to bring coffee into the Sanctuary. Typically people finish their snacks before entering into the Sanctuary.

Will everyone know I’m a visitor?

Probably, but that's OK! You will likely be sought out by a few congregation members just so they can say hello. If you feel comfortable visiting, don’t hesitate to introduce yourself or ask questions. Everyone will be glad you’re there.

What are the services like and how long do they last?

The service kicks off with a worship song. This helps everyone settle into the sanctuary. Then we typically have a few announcements, sing two more worship songs, listen to the message and scripture, and close with another worship song and prayer. The service typically lasts one hour. We do stand during songs, if you are able, and the words are projected on a screen at the front of the Sanctuary.

Do I have to donate money?

No. We don’t solicit donations or pass a plate. There is an offering box located at the back of the sanctuary but please do not feel any obligation.

I have kids, can they stay in the Sanctuary with me?

Absolutely! We do offer a staffed nursery for children birth to 4 years old but kiddos are always welcome to stay in the sanctuary. We also offer Sunday school for children who are in Pre-K - 4th grade during the 10:00 a.m. service.

A few tips about our outdoor service
